Notice for all Team Reps/Captains
The team captain is responsible for inputting on the roster all jersey numbers. This must be done prior to game sheet being handed to the referee. Referees are not responsible for updating the roster with player’s jersey numbers. Jersey numbers can be added to the team roster via the on-line system. If a team representative fails to provide a roster with accurate jersey numbers for their team prior to game check-in the referee may issue a yellow card to the team representative. Every Team Representative is responsible for printing and bringing a roster to their game.
Every team is responsible for their own jerseys. It is mandatory that each team to have matching jerseys. Every player’s jersey must have a permanent unique number. No repeat numbers.
The Home team is responsible for changing jersey color if there is a team color conflict. If the Home team cannot provide an alternate color to play in, the referee has the discretion, to declare a forfeit for the visiting team. Please notify the Board of any jersey color changes so that directories can be updated. The Home team is also responsible for providing the game ball.
If a player is not listed on the roster they are not permitted to play. Each player must have a Driver’s License or government issued ID to play. No other form of ID will work unless the player or representative has received approval by a Board member. If a team plays with an unregistered player, the team representative(s) will be disciplined according to TWSL Bylaws.
Thank you
Revised TWSL’s Pandemic Operational Plan
- No player should be playing with any symptoms or if they have been exposed to family members that are COVID positive
- At this time we are asking teams to not invite spectators. If there are spectators they must observe social distancing of 6 feet.
- The soccer season may be discontinued upon the State or County governing boards deciding it is unsafe to continue playing.
Thanks so much.
